I'm so glad you're here!

On the weekends, you can find me out exploring a new trail with my little one, holding whatever rock he's decided we absolutely must bring home.

When the world slows down, I get lost in stories. I'm almost always reading three books at once and waiting on a stack of library holds. My people know I love them when I say, "I got you this book, it made me think of you."

The rest of the time, I'm likely making a mess of something. Whether that’s throwing pottery, painting, pulling herbs out of my garden, or dancing badly in the kitchen to Norah Jones while dinner gets a little burnt. Mess, it turns out, is just what joy looks like when nobody's watching."

This little corner of the internet is where I keep it all, the books I read, the kids’ reads rated "mama, read it again!", and whatever else spills out of my brain along the way.
