peanut butter & jelly overnight oats

Ingredients

  • ½ cup rolled oats

  • ½ cup milk of choice

  • ½ tablespoon chia seeds

  • ½ tablespoon maple syrup, honey, or agave

  • 1 tablespoons creamy peanut butter

  • 1 tablespoon jelly or preserves

 Directions

  1. Place all ingredients minus the jelly in a glass jar, stir to combine – I shake the jars up once the lids are on.

  2. Cover and let sit in the fridge overnight.

  3. In the morning, add more milk as needed to get your desired consistency – I like to make 4-5 of these jars on Sundays for a quick grab and go breakfast during the week.

I like Pb & J because it’s the fastest, but you can add whatever mix-ins make you happy - blueberries, raspberries, chopped almonds, chocolate chips, bananas - whatever sounds good to you.
